Ever since it was announced that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be playing the role of Dalbir Kaur in Omung Kumars Sarbjit, Co-producer by Sandeep Singh and Zeishan Qadri, everyone had just one question.
Who will play Sarbjit?
Names like Farhan Akhtar and Fawad Khan were doing the rounds while the films team kept mum.

Its Randeep Hooda! Yes, the Highway actor will be essaying the role of Sarbjit Singh, an Indian national, who was convicted of terrorism and spying by a Pakistani court and sentenced to death in 1991. However, the government had stayed his execution for an indefinite period in 2008.
Dalbir Kaur fought for her brothers release but her quest ended tragically when he died in 2013 following a brutal attack by fellow prisoners.
Now, Ash and Randeep will bring this heartbreaking saga to the big screen.
